Diesel Technology and Near Zero Emmissions

The importance of “Going Green” becomes more apparent each day. Undoubtedly, this practice will help protect the environment and sustain its natural resources for current and future generations.

The transformation of the diesel industry is fortifying on clean air accomplishments over the last decade. They have increased their focus on producing near zero emissions technology that is more efficient and has lower greenhouse gas emissions as well. Recently, the U.S Environmental Protection Agency has revised its national ambient air quality standard for ground-level ozone. The Diesel Technology forum believes this will set the bar higher for cleaner air and the upsurge of clean diesel technology will be important to help states reach higher stringent standards. In fact, the American Lung Associated annual report pinpointed cleaner diesel fleets as one of the two main contributors to helping the nation achieve cleaner air.
